The Sad Reality of Harry Reid’s Senate
The Sad Reality of Harry Reid’s Senate: pYesterday afternoon, Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took to the Senate floor and offered the words that will—or at least should—define his tenure in the Senate. “The amendment days are over,” Reid somberly declared. He was referring to a specific bill—Rand Paul’s legislation that would remove foreign aid from Egypt, Libya, and Pakistan—but Reid [...]/p

Re: Democratic Delegates Boo “Jerusalem”
Re: Democratic Delegates Boo “Jerusalem”: pThe Democratic platform once again acknowledges Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, but the reinstitution of the language in question (and the reinstituted reference to God) was more alarming than the initial change. When Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa called for Yeas and Nays on the decision he found a roughly even split among delegates. [...]/p

Desperate Democrats
There is panic in the air. Liberal politicians and media are freaking out. The Republican Convention has been full of competent conservatives, who are shining a light on Obama's dismal record while showing a sunny optimism that everyone appreciates.
After suffering through attacks of being a felon, a murderer, a racist and a liar, a different story is being told about Romney without the filter of a biased media. Unless of course, you are watching CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC and CBS. You should be watching C-SPAN.
The Democrats feel that every criticism from Republicans is a lie, but all you have to do is look at the miserable record of Obama's non-accomplishments to see the truth. The truth hurts and that is why Obama and his surrogates do not talk about his record. That is amazing to me, a President who can not talk about his record. So what is left, attack, smear, denegrate and lie. Causing more division and despair in a country that badly needs some cheer.
Now we have an article getting a lot of attention because it was seen on Foxnews.com. It was written by Sally Kohn. You can read it by clicking here. She wrote about Paul Ryan's speech last night.
Sally Kohn is new to Fox News, she is used to working at radical organizations funded by the convicted insider trading, currency manipulator, hedge fund billionaire George Soros. She is not a serious journalist, not fair and balanced, and this article is not worth reading. But I have noticed it is being passed around as if it is legitimate because it came from Fox News. So here are a few points worth noting.
First of all I agree with her, Paul Ryan was dazzling during his convention speech, then she goes off the rails.
Fact->This country was downgraded under Obama's administration. Period.
Fact->GM should have gone through a bankruptcy like every other company in trouble. The government shouldn't pick winners and losers on our dime.
Read on for more truth.

Desparate Democrats part 2
The truth about the GM Janesville plant is what Paul Ryan said. Obama promised during the campaign that under his plan the Janesville plant would stay open. Five months into his presidency it closed, June 2009. For more info about that plant that is even worse for Obama, go here.
Fact->Obama did say "You didn't build that, someone else made that happen." Why because they used the schools and roads? Well it was we the people who started the government and pay for it using taxes from money we have earned. During that same speech, Obama also said, "I'm always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something, there are a whole bunch of hard working people out there." After you get over that condescending tone, think about this, maybe people who risk everything to open their own business, are smarter and work harder than others. Especially the ones who don't work, who live on the dole.
Fact->Obama did take 716 billion dollars out of Medicare and give it to Obamacare. And in two years there will be a panel of fifteen unelected bureaucrats deciding what healthcare seniors will or will not receive. It will be the only way to make it affordable. Money doesn't grow on trees. And you could confiscate all the wealth of the 1% and not make a dent in what is needed to fund all these programs.
Now, here are a few comments to the "distracting" portion of her article.
Has Obama ever told you about his feelings about late term abortion? Well, after listening to a nurse describe how she held a dying baby who was born alive after a late term abortion, then thrown in a garbage in a laundry closet, Obama not once, but four times, would not support a bill called "The Born Alive Act. All this bill did was say doctors had to offer medical assistance to a baby born alive after a late term abortion. Obama said no. Who is the extreme candidate? Read on for part three.

Desperate Democrats part 3
Romney/Ryan do not want to destroy Social Security, they want to fix it for the future. Seniors should want this, for their kids and grand kids.
Romney/Ryan want to fix the tax system to be fair to everyone. Half of the country doesn't pay federal taxes, does that sound fair? Why would people, who have no skin in the game, care about our fiscal woes? Will they care about freedom? Or free stuff?
Paul Ryan wins elections in a heavily Democrat district. Legislators from both sides have wonderful things to say about him. He wrote his budget with Democrat Sen. Ron Wyden. Paul Ryan is not an extremist.
Be careful with what you read out there. The media is full of biased hacks who don't want us to know the truth, like Sally Kohn.
Here is an article that everyone should read:
Obama's Gotta Go By Niall Ferguson for Newsweek, click here.
Can you give any reasons why Obama should stay?

Obama Drops His Name Into the Other Presidential Biographies
Obama Drops His Name Into the Other Presidential Biographies: pMany of President Obama’s fervent devotees are young enough not to have much memory of the political world before the arrival of The One. Coincidentally, Obama himself feels the same way—and the White House’s official website reflects that. The Heritage Foundation’s Rory Cooper tweeted that Obama had casually dropped his own name into Ronald Reagan’s [...]/p
